Business Development Manager (BDM)

The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.

 

 

  • Develop a strategy to win back targeted major accounts
  • To achieve revenue targets set by sales Leadership
  • Determine key client requirements and communicate internally to develop a winning proposition
  • Participate in marketing and product development discussions in order to better analyse customer and market needs.
  • Measure, achieve and report sales & margin budget versus actual and come up with corrective actions – of applicable
  • Ensure all key accounts are maintained effectively ie competencies, driving results,  customer focus, inflencing others
  • Manage and the grow key account in line with company strategy.
  • Follow up with concern department and parties in the company to ensure resolving key client issues and complaints.
