The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day management of inbound, outbound, and housekeeping operations in support of the supervisors. Acting as the second in command, the Team Leader will lead the warehouse team in executing daily tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the team in meeting the business needs for both inbound and outbound operations.
- Assist the supervisor in handling inbound and outbound operations where applicable.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures for inbound and outbound processes.
- Manage and run the shift in the absence of the supervisor.
- Provide management information, such as operations KPIs, to meet all reporting requirements.
- Provide feedback on personnel performance to support documentation for promotions and incentives.
- Support the superior in achieving daily task targets set by management.
- Enforce good practices among team leaders and operations staff.
- Assume other warehouse roles or activities as required by management or superiors.
